I am a British-born Nigerian and an Information and Communications Technology (ICT) specialist teacher with over 7 years experience. Currently, I work as a curriculum, behaviour and assessment manager and manage a group of special education need teachers who work with children with learning and behavioural needs in East London.
As a young girl, I loved ICT as a subject because it was always evolving. There was always something new to learn. Innovation was a keyword in ICT. We live in an ever-changing world where ICT is an integral part of our every day life.
Being one of the 3 females and only black female in my ICT degree class highlighted the shortage of females in the technology world. I believe that every girl around the world should be given the chance to study ICT, whether it is just digital literacy or coding. I joined GGAC to support this vision.
