At Give Girls A Chance (GGAC), we believe that educating girls is the single most powerful investment to shape a better future for Nigeria. Each year, we invest in initiatives and programs that help improve the wellbeing of the girls in our program, foster an encouraging environment for learning, and advocate for the education of the girl-child.
If you educate a man, you educate an individual. But if you educate a woman, you educate a nation.
Family & Community Programs
Family support is essential to ensuring girls remain in school. We work directly with the families and communities of girls in our program to promote the individual and societal benefits of girl-child education.
Menstrual Hygiene Management Program
Stigma around menstruation is one of the factors affecting the advancement of girl-child education. Our program focuses on breaking down misconceptions around periods and advocating for safe and healthy environments for girls.
School Improvement Program
To further our mission of increasing access to quality education, we work directly with partner schools to systematically develop infrastructure and programs offered to students.
